One Week Art Holiday Experience in Capri

Day 1

Arrive at Naples Capodichino Airport on a Sunday afternoon (please arrange for your flight to arrive in the afternoon, and provide us with your flight details), where your airport transfer will be waiting to pick you up and take you to the port. Your boat ticket is included in your holiday; tickets will be collected and provided to you upon arrival at the port, before boarding.

Once you arrive on beautiful Capri’s port of Marina Grande, your transfer service will take you and your luggage directly to your accommodation, while you and your cohort will enjoy welcome drinks and refreshments and have a brief orientation session before we leave you to get settled to have dinner and enjoy your evening.

Day 2

If you are staying in one of the hotels we have selected for you, breakfast will be provided within the hotel; otherwise, we will offer breakfast vouchers for an Italian-style breakfast in one of the bars in Capri’s famous Piazzetta. Following breakfast, your first art lesson begins at 10:00am, and ends at 12:30.

Lunchtime is free for you to wander, enjoy and explore, until your afternoon lesson begins at 2:30pm.

Your first night’s dinner is included in your stay, with a reservation at one of our partner restaurants at 7:30pm. (If you have any food allergies or intolerances you’d like us to share with them, please let us know in advance.)

Day 3

After breakfast, your art class starts at 10am, and ends at lunchtime. Because our afternoon session is a ‘plein air’ (open air/on-site) session, we have organised lunch at a restaurant near our selected subject matter. Feel free to join us, or take the break for yourselves.

The afternoon is spent creating art in plein air.

In the evening, we have organised entrance for you in the world-famous Taverna Anema e Core. Much more than a tavern, a bar nightclub, it’s the pulsating artery of Capri where fun, tradition and folklore have come together for over 20 years. Enjoy live music every night consisting of Neapolitan music mixed with international favourites from the ‘70s to the latest hits, all with an energetic and fun atmosphere that is guaranteed to have you dancing on tables and possibly even becoming a part of the show by the end of the night. It’s a unique experience that calls locals, visitors and celebrities alike.

Day 4

This is a free day for you to explore, sight-see, shop, relax on a beach, perhaps enjoy a day on a boat, taking a trip around the island. Whatever your preferences, we are happy to provide custom, bespoke recommendations based on your personal styles and tastes.

Day 5

A full day of art awaits as you approach the end of your holiday: after breakfast, your morning session convenes at 10am (plein air, location provided in advance), with a lunchtime break, and a slightly longer afternoon session to ensure your pieces are ready for the next day…

Day 6

After breakfast, enjoy your last instructor-led lesson in the morning before your break at lunchtime.

In late afternoon, come to your ‘exhibit’, where your cohort, locals, visitors and the island’s art community will be welcomed to drinks as they view your masterpieces with you.

Our week ends with a celebration dinner in one of our carefully selected restaurants (included in your holiday).

Day 7

On departure day, please note that checkout depends on your hotel; you may be able to arrange a later checkout upon request, or arrange to have your luggage held.  You’ll leave with a departing gift to remember your art experience and continue your creative journey. We will arrange your airport transfer with you for a stress-free return to the airport.
